All Women Stand Up, Stand Out!
Kappa Delta to Host Seminar for Women

Kappa Delta will be hosting "Stand Up, Stand Out!" an event designed to help women unite in a common cause.
The event is schedule for Thursday, Feb. 19 from 7-9 p.m. in the HNS (Health & Natural Science) Auditorium.
There is no admission fee and refreshments will be provided following the presentation.
The topic to be discussed is "Womanhood through the Generations."
The presentation will consist of a panel of six speakers, each of whom will tell their stories of living in today's society as women.
The speakers will include:
Trisha Williamson on "The challenges of Becoming a Mother and Beyond." Her adopted fve-year-old son has been fighting a brain tumor for three years.
Libby Lindahl, president of Atlanta Pahellenic, will speak on how National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) groups can work together for the good of all women.
Patty Keller, owner of Anotherme.com, Virtual Assistants for Realtors, will talk about entrepreneurial challenges.
Dorothy Mears will discuss peer pressure and other types of pressures on young women
Nita Chambless of the Gwinnett County Retired Educators' Puppet Team
will speak on teaching young children about bullying.
Fio Crockford, a registered dietician, will discuss healthy habits for a lifetime.
A Q&A session will follow the presentations.
