The 14th Annual Honors Academic Conference, formerly known as "Honors Day," is fast approaching.

This year's conference will be held Tuesday, April 7 and Wednesday April 8 from 3-7 p.m. with the sites to be announced later.

Just what is the Honors Academic Conference?

It's an academic showcase and "sampler" of student achievement that showcases on-campus talent and might pique your curiosity about a particular subject.

Curious about chemistry? Wonder what they really in sociology? This is one way to find out.

Want more recognition for that marketing project you did so well
on? Or maybe you're planning on using that project in the real world and want a place to try it out. This might be the place to do it.

There are sessions for each school plus special panels and activities sponsored by departments, honor societies and professional organizations.

The Deadline for submissions is on Feb. 27. Anyone, not just honors students, can submit work for consideration.

So, if you wrote a paper or worked on a project that you feel is good enough for presentation at the Honors Conference, please contact the
appropriate Honors Conference Committee member:
