Gold Rush parking raffle for student organizations

Gold Rush Weekend in Dahlonega brings tourists from all over the state into our tiny college town.
The festival requires on-campus parking, and your student organization can profit from it.
A drawing will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. to decide which two student organizations will assist with Gold Rush parking and traffic control and therefore make a large profit.
Profits depend on how many cars are parked throughout the weekend. Last year the Phi Mu Sorority and the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity made over $5,000.
In order to enter your organization into the raffle, you must have a minimum of 25 members, and one representative must attend the drawing. Entrance is free, and the winners must be prepared to stay after the drawing to get the Gold Rush details.
Whether you're a member of a fraternity, sorority, club, or sports team, this is a great opportunity to raise money for your organization. To enter, meet at 12:45 p.m. in Room 204 of Memorial Hall on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
