Coke exec Jerry Wilson speaks Dec. 1

Jerry Wilson, Senior Vice President and Chief Customer and Commercial Officer for the Coca-Cola Company, will be the featured speaker Tuesday, Dec. 1 for the Mike Cottrell School of Business continuing lecture series.

Wilson's presentation, which is open to the public, will take place in the Special Collection Room of the Library Technology Center at 9:35 a.m.

Wilson will be discussing the critical role that relationships play in successfully marketing more than 4,000 beverages that the company sells in over 200 countries worldwide.

Wilson has invested 20 years with The Coca-Cola Company. His rapid rise through the ranks is a testament to his marketing management and leadership skills.

In his current position he leads a global organization that is responsible for crafting and executing the company's customer and commercial leadership strategy and agenda.

Together with his management team, Wilson leads the Company's global system in building mutually beneficial customer relationship across all key channels. Recently Wilson co-authored a book entitled "Managing Brand YOU-7 Steps to Creating Your Most Successful Self".
