At every convenience store and supermarket we find batteries to power our electronics that make life so much easier.

Different things take different sizes of batteries, from AAA, AA, C, and D. But my question is, where are the B batteries?

It makes perfect sense to follow in alphabetical order, so why would they skip the letter B? Perhaps to avoid stuttering?

Actually, there used to be B batteries. They were used for old vacuums and portable radios, but as the world has advanced they have become obsolete along with single A and E batteries.

So where have all these unwanted batteries disappeared to? I guess it will remain something that keeps me up at night.
