Do you wish you knew more about Afghan history?
Are you tired of listening to fellow students debate the pros and cons of America's involvement in Afghanistan without being able to join in the conversation?
Help is on the way.
Monday, Jan. 25, at 7 p.m., the NGCSU Library Technology Center will be hosting a forum entitled "Afghanistan: Past, Present, and Future" that will include a question and answer session with three panelists specializing in Afghan history and U.S. involvement in the region.
Dr. Timothy May and Dr. Jonathan Miner will discuss the history of Afghanistan, and Col. Michael Pyott will discuss his active duty experience in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
The event will be held in the Library's Special Collections room 382 and is sponsored by NGCSU's Phi Alpha Theta, the history honor society, and the Library Technology Center.
The forum will be open to the public and will be a great way to learn more about this controversial subject.
