The North Georgia baseball team will open its season today, Friday, Feb. 5 (weather permitting) with a 4:30 game against Pfeiffer University.

Chris Reirich is scheduled to start on the mound for the Saints, who enter the 2010 season ranked 24th in the nation, their third consecutive preseason national ranking.

Pfeiffer's Falcons split a two-game series with The Saints last year, and finished the season 27-19-1.
