Free Church Choir Festival this Sunday

The Church Choir Festival will be held this Sunday, Feb. 28, beginning at 3 p.m. at the Dahlonega United Methodist Church.
The NGCSU Singers, Le Belle Voci and Patriot Choir will perform in addition to the Christ the King Lutheran Chancel Choir, the Dahlonega United Methodist Adult Choir, the Commerce First Baptist Adult Choir, and others.
According to Dr. Jack Broman, the festival director, each choir will present two selections and then join forces with more than 200 voices presenting four pieces: "In Dat Great Gittin' Up Morning, Bow Down Low, the Battle Hymn and Christ We Do All Adore Thee.
The program is free and a reception provided by the participating church choirs will follow the afternoon concert.
