In their fourth overtime contest this season, the Lady Saints dropped their final game of the year to Georgia College and State University, 72-68 at home.
North Georgia finished the year scraping the bottom of the Peach Belt Conference with a 9-17 overall record, 4-13 in conference play.
The final loss was at the hands of the first place Lady Bobcats, who improved to 20-7 overall and 13-4 in conference play.
North Georgia held a nine-point lead in the second period only to fall victim to a 16-4 run by GCSU.
Senior Whitney Randolph finished her collegiate career strong with 26 points and eight rebounds.
North Georgia loses two seniors this season but brings back three juniors, including Sarah Stinson, who recorded a double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds.
In addition, five freshmen are on the roster, led by Janyce Ealey, the Lady Saints' second leading scorer behind Randolph.
