Goodbye until July

Issue date: 4/23/10 Section: News
It's time to say farewell to another school year, and the second year of The Saint.
From its humble beginnings, The Saint has sought to establish itself as a reputable source for news; a place where students can be seen and heard and be informed.
I'd say we've come much closer to this idea, although there is still a long road ahead.
My experience as editor of The Saint has never been an individual effort. I do not allow those who would praise me to believe that I've done this on my own.
From adviser Ron Martz's leadership, I have learned what it takes to create convincing, accessible messages, and also how to sport a Hawaiian shirt.
From my classmates (more appropriately, my co-workers), I have learned the value of camaraderie and teamwork, and how to compromise.
I've had a wonderful time watching this paper grow, and I have faith in its future with the new Editor Katie-Marie Stout, and Assistant Editor Laura A. Fannon.
Look forward to a summer edition of The Saint, and have a great break!
